On average, when a chimney is removed, an additional 3x3m2 of space is created which is ideal for opening up an area. Chimney removals typically involve the removal of the fireplace situated back-to-back in each room along with the external studding, and may also involve re-roofing works.

The conversion of large houses to flats for rental purposes requires strict compliance with current building regulations. This includes a comprehensive engineer’s report and fire survey to demonstrate the property is compliant. Our experienced in-house team can provide fully certified insulation for your property according to your requirements. We are registered with the SEAI’s home energy grant scheme which is designed to help property owners achieve enhanced energy efficiency and may provide financial assistance with your insulation upgrade.

They created a great attic storage solution for us by inserting shelving in the trusses. The team also fixed door fittings and closings, wall mounted a TV, repositioned light fittings, plumbed an American Fridge-Freezer and changed a tumble-dryer from condenser to being plumbed. They also cleaned all the windows inside and out and power-hosed the surrounds of the house and the patio.
The work was done to the highest standard. What was most impressive was the cleanliness of the house after the works were completed. Workmen took their boots off on carpets, laid sheets down where needed and even vacuumed the spaces when they were finished. From the initial inspection right through to the completion of the work everyone we dealt with was very helpful, friendly and professional.
